Why Mail Your Mac to Us

Good board-level Mac repair is hard to find. A lot of shops will only replace the whole logic board, which can cost as much as a new Mac and wipes out the value of a machine that just needs one failed component replaced. We do the harder work: component-level diagnostics and micro-soldering that saves the board you already own.

If there's no one near you who does that, you don't have to give up on your Mac. Ship it to our shop in Marietta, Georgia and we'll treat it exactly like a walk-in repair. We diagnose it, send you a firm quote before any paid work, do the repair, and ship it back with a 60-day warranty. We do this for customers across the country, and we keep you updated the whole way.

What We Repair by Mail

🔬

Logic Board / No Power

Dead boards, no power, stuck charging, blown or exploded capacitors. This is our specialty: component-level diagnosis and micro-soldering to save the board instead of replacing it.

💧

Liquid Damage Recovery

Spills cause corrosion and shorts across the board. We disassemble, ultrasonically clean, and replace the components the liquid destroyed. Ship it in sooner for the best odds.

🔋

Battery & Charging

Not charging, battery not recognized, swollen batteries, or random shutdowns. We handle both the battery and the charging circuit on the board.

🖥️

Screen & Display

Cracked panels, no backlight, black screen, or lines and artifacts. We replace displays and repair the display circuit on the logic board.

💾

Data Recovery

Mac won't boot but you need what's on it? In many board-level cases we can recover your data as part of the repair. Tell us up front if data is the priority.

🖱️

Ports, Keyboard & More

USB-C and Thunderbolt failures, dead keyboards and trackpads, speaker and audio issues. If it's a Mac, iMac, or Mac mini, ship it in and we'll take a look.

Mail-In Success Story: Plymouth, Minnesota

✈️ A MacBook Air shipped 1,000 miles, saved, and sent home

A customer in Plymouth, Minnesota couldn't find a local shop to fix their MacBook Air at the board level, so they shipped it to us in Georgia. We diagnosed it, sent a quote, made the repair, and shipped it back working. They followed up with a call to the shop to say thanks.

That's the whole point of mail-in: your zip code shouldn't decide whether your Mac gets a fair shot at repair. If the right shop is a state or two away, the box does the traveling instead of you.

We keep customer details private. We share the repair, the outcome, and the region, never personal information.

Mail-In Mac Repair FAQ

How does mail-in Mac repair work?

It's simple. You contact us and tell us what's wrong, we send you shipping instructions, and you pack and ship your Mac to our shop in Marietta, GA. We diagnose it, call or email you with a firm quote, and once you approve we perform the repair and ship it back. You get a 60-day warranty on the work.

Where do you accept mail-in repairs from?

Anywhere in the United States. We regularly repair Macs mailed in from other states. For example, we recently recovered a MacBook Air logic board mailed to us from Plymouth, Minnesota and shipped it back working. If you can't find a trustworthy board-level repair shop locally, you can ship it to us.

Is it safe to mail in my MacBook for repair?

Yes. Pack it well, ideally in the original box or a padded box with the Mac wrapped and cushioned so it can't move. We recommend insuring the shipment for the value of the device. When your repair is done, we ship it back to you protected and can insure the return as well.

How much does mail-in Mac repair cost?

It depends on the repair. Board-level repairs typically start at $350, while screen, battery, and port repairs vary by model. We diagnose your Mac first and send you a firm quote before doing any paid work, so you always know the price before you commit. You cover shipping to us, and we'll go over return shipping when we quote the repair.

Will my data be safe during a mail-in repair?

Our board-level repairs are not intended to touch your storage, and on modern Apple Silicon Macs the storage is soldered to the board and is not removed. Even so, we cannot guarantee your data. A Mac that arrives with a hardware failure, liquid damage, or a dead board may already have data loss we have no way to see, and we are not responsible for data during the repair. If the Mac still powers on, please back it up before you ship it. If your files are the priority, tell us up front and ask about data recovery.
