Data recovery starts at $300 for simpler cases. Complex recoveries involving physical drive damage or extensive work can range from $450-$600+. We provide a quote before proceeding.
Often yes! Even if the Mac itself is dead, the storage drive may be fine. We can remove it and access the data directly. For newer Macs with soldered storage, we have specialized techniques.
If we cannot recover any usable data, we'll discuss the situation with you. Diagnostic fees may still apply for the work performed, but we're always upfront about costs before proceeding.
Data recovery can take up to 14 business days depending on the type of failure and amount of data. Simple recoveries may be faster. We'll give you a timeline estimate during assessment.
If the drive is mechanically failing (clicking, grinding sounds), don't run software - it can make things worse. For deleted files on a working drive, software might help, but continued use risks overwriting data. When in doubt, bring it in.
