Apple's newest MacBook, and we already service it
Day-One MacBook Neo Support
The MacBook Neo just launched and we're already ready to service it. Apple's most repairable MacBook in over a decade means faster repairs, lower costs, and better outcomes for you. If you cracked it, spilled on it, or it won't turn on, bring it in.
What Is the MacBook Neo?
Released March 2026, the MacBook Neo is Apple's brand-new entry-level laptop, and a huge shift in design. It's the first Mac to run an A-series chip (the A18 Pro from the iPhone), it starts at just $599, and it comes in four colors: Blush, Indigo, Silver, and Citrus.
At just 2.7 pounds with a 13-inch Liquid Retina display, up to 16 hours of battery life, and full Apple Intelligence support, it's built for students, creatives, and everyday users who want a real Mac experience without the premium price.
MacBook Neo Repairs We Perform
Thanks to Apple's most repair-friendly design in years, we can service the MacBook Neo quickly and affordably. iFixit gave it a 6/10 repairability score, the best for any MacBook since 2012.
Screen Replacement
Cracked or damaged display? The Neo's screen pops off cleanly, making replacements faster and more affordable than any recent MacBook.
Battery Replacement
The Neo's battery is held by screws, not glue. This is the most accessible MacBook battery in over a decade. Quick swap, no risk to other components.
USB-C Port Repair
Damaged charging port? The Neo's USB-C ports are modular, so we can replace them without touching the logic board. A huge win for repair.
Keyboard Replacement
Sticky or unresponsive keys? The Neo's keyboard is replaceable. 41 screws to access, but fully serviceable without destructive disassembly.
Speaker & Audio Repair
Crackling, distorted, or no sound? The Neo's side-firing speakers and dual microphones are accessible for repair and replacement.
Liquid Damage Recovery
Spilled on your new Neo? The modular design means we can isolate and replace damaged components without a full logic board swap in many cases.
Why the Neo Is Great News for Repairs
Apple designed the MacBook Neo with repairability in mind, a major departure from recent MacBooks:
- Screw-in battery, no adhesive removal, no heat guns, no risk
- Modular USB-C ports, replaceable independently from the logic board
- Easy-open case, 8 pentalobe screws, lifts off by hand
- Pop-off display, screen swaps are faster than any MacBook in years
- Modular headphone jack, separate from the main board
The only downside? RAM (8GB) and storage (256GB SSD) are soldered, so upgrades aren't possible. But for repairs, this machine is a dream.

Yes, it's the easiest MacBook battery replacement in over a decade. Apple used a screw-in battery tray instead of adhesive, which means faster replacements with zero risk to surrounding components.
Bring it in as fast as possible. Time is everything with liquid damage. The good news is the Neo's modular design means we can often replace individual damaged components (ports, speakers, battery) without replacing the entire logic board, which can save you significant money.
The MacBook Neo is Apple's new entry-level laptop starting at $599, running an A18 Pro chip (from the iPhone line).
